The Georgian delegation was represented at the forum by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli (Head of Delegation), Archil Sumbadze - Co-Founder of the Georgian School Administrators Association and Academic Director of Buckswood School and Maia Kobakhidze - President of the Free Trade Union of Teachers and Scientists of Georgia.
The main theme of the event was "New Challenges and Opportunities of Teacher Activity". This topic was discussed in three main directions:
1. Public function of schools and community relations;
2. Pedagogy of the future;
3. Teachers' daily lives: stress and motivation.
We hope that the results of the summit will soon enable us to offer new initiatives to our member directors and other administrators.
Within the framework of the summit, the Georgian delegation took an active part in the general thematic discussions and also held bilateral meetings with the education leaders of Finland, Portugal, Estonia and other countries.
We talked about sharing valuable experiences, common challenges and future plans.
